Getting Started
Everything you need to access FieldOrchestrator, understand your role, and begin operating the platform — from first login to live field execution.
Prerequisites
FieldOrchestrator runs entirely in the browser — no desktop software or plugins are required. The following conditions must be met before you can access the platform.
Supported Browsers
- Chrome90+
- Firefox90+
- Safari15+
- Edge90+
JavaScript must be enabled. Pop-up blockers should allow your FieldOrchestrator domain.
Mobile Devices
- Android 8.0 or later
- iOS 14 or later
Tablet form factors are fully supported for both Android and iPadOS.
Account Access
User accounts are provisioned by your organisation's FieldOrchestrator Administrator. To request access, contact your IT Manager or SFE Manager.
support@symbiowave.comFirst Login
Follow these steps on your first visit to the platform. Subsequent logins are faster once your session preferences are saved.
Navigate to your organisation's FieldOrchestrator URL (provided by your IT administrator).
Enter your work email address and password. If your organisation uses Single Sign-On (SAML or OIDC), click "Continue with [your provider name]" instead of entering a password.
On first login, select your preferred language — English or French. This preference can be changed at any time in your account settings.
You will be redirected to the Dashboard after successful authentication. The Dashboard surface shown depends on your assigned role.
If multi-factor authentication (MFA) is enforced by your organisation, you will be prompted to verify your identity before reaching the Dashboard.
SSO users: If your organisation has configured SAML or OIDC single sign-on, you will not need to manage a separate FieldOrchestrator password. Credentials are validated entirely by your identity provider. Contact your administrator if you are unsure whether SSO is configured for your organisation.
User Roles
FieldOrchestrator uses role-based access control. Every user is assigned exactly one role. Roles determine which modules, actions, and data a user can access.
| Role | Access Level | Typical User |
|---|---|---|
| Administrator | Full platform access — user management, territory configuration, product catalogue, system settings, and audit logs. | IT Manager, SFE Manager |
| Manager | Territory management, route plan generation and approval, team-level analytics, HCP directory access, and plan publishing. | Regional Sales Manager, District Manager |
| Representative | Mobile visit execution on an assigned route plan, personal visit history, pre-call intelligence briefs, and offline sync. | Field Medical Representative |
| Read-Only | Dashboard views, reports, and analytics. No ability to create, modify, or delete any records. | Executive, Auditor |

Platform Setup Checklist
For Administrators and Managers
Complete the following steps before inviting field representatives. Each step unlocks additional capabilities downstream. Steps can be performed by any user with Administrator or Manager access.
Configure territories and assign field representatives to each territory.
Import or create the HCP (Healthcare Professional) directory — the foundation of all visit planning.
Configure the product catalogue with the brands and molecules your field force promotes.
Import initial sell-out or prescription data (optional, but required to activate Closed-Loop Prescription Intelligence).
Generate the first route plans for your team using the Route Optimization module.
Invite field representatives, assign their roles, and ensure each rep has completed first login.
Tip: Steps 1–3 are required for any field activity. Steps 4 and 5 unlock AI-powered features. Completing all six steps before go-live ensures the full platform experience from day one.
